Object // Identity, 2022.
Through the lens of my own identity, I explore the relationship of objects and identity through other first generation immigrants living in New York. In each portrait, the subjects hold an object significant to their cultural identity. Alongside they write about its origin and its representation, revealing how the objects we hold onto not only represent our identities, but serve as a reminder to who we are and where we come from.
