Bio
Gabi Dinkova (b. 2002) is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City with a focus in photography. She received her BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design and BA from Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts in Documentary Contexts: Journalism, Writing, and Visual Culture in 2025. Her work is heavily informed by her experience as a first-generation Bulgarian-American, exploring themes of memory, identity, and belonging, fostering her passion for storytelling and documentary narratives. Outside of photography, Dinkova’s practice includes making artists’ and photo books, handmade mediums, and other design strategies. She has a strong foundation and eye for photography, narrative driven journalism, research, and visual culture. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York and is available for commissions and projects around the world.
